Regions

Pokopia has 4 main regions — each a broken, abandoned land that Ditto must restore. Complete each region's major quest to unlock new areas, earn Trainer Rank upgrades, and befriend Legendary Pokémon. There's also a 5th free-build zone: Palette Town, unlocked after the tutorial.

Withered Wasteland

Drought-stricken, barren grassland with dried-up rivers and caves

How to Unlock

Starting area — available from the beginning of the game

Environment

Parched grass, cracked dirt, withered trees, dried waterways, caves, and coastal areas. Initially completely desolate except for Professor Tangrowth waiting at the entrance.

Main Quest: Yawn Up A Storm

Raise the area's humidity to 100% so Slowpoke can yawn and trigger rainfall, then rescue a trapped Onix.

Steps

  1. 1Use Water Gun to moisten soil, grass, and withered trees throughout the region
  2. 2Use Rock Smash to clear clogged water channels to create ponds and springs
  3. 3Place Horsea fountains in water bodies to raise humidity
  4. 4Plant wildflower seeds near each other (Bulbasaur accelerates growth)
  5. 5Use Water Gun on all 10 withered trees
  6. 6Build a hydrated tall grass habitat for Squirtle
  7. 7Construct a sacred rain dance site (2x Castform Weather Charms, Wooden Plate, food offering)
  8. 8Trigger Slowpoke's 100-point yawn
  9. 9Travel to the fishing docks to meet Kyogre
  10. 10Rebuild docks and destroy walls to free trapped Onix

Reward: Kyogre joins as a friend, Trainer Rank increases to Great, Bleak Beach and Rocky Ridges unlock

Bleak Beach

Dark, flooded coastal town with broken electrical infrastructure

How to Unlock

Complete 'Yawn Up A Storm' in Withered Wasteland and reach Great Trainer Rank

Environment

Sandy coast with dark skies, floodwater, broken utility poles, a flooded Pokémon Center, waterwheels, a windmill, and the damaged S.S. Anne ship. Gradually brightens as you restore electricity.

Main Quest: Brighten Things Up

Restore electricity to the entire town to wake up a sleeping Mosslax and light up Bleak Beach.

Steps

  1. 1Meet Meowth and Peakychu (a special Pikachu variant)
  2. 2Build and connect utility poles to form an electrical grid
  3. 3Place generators and power waterwheels/windmill for electricity
  4. 4Power streetlights and charging stations throughout the region
  5. 5Gather iron ore (from Trubbish recycling nonburnable garbage)
  6. 6Use Generate specialty Pokémon to power devices
  7. 7Wake Mosslax with sufficient electrical power
  8. 8Peakychu uses Illuminate to light the entire town

Reward: Area brightens permanently, follows normal weather cycle, Trainer Rank increases

Rocky Ridges

Ash-covered volcanic mountain with interconnected lava caves, hot springs, and minecarts

How to Unlock

Complete 'Yawn Up A Storm' in Withered Wasteland and reach Great Trainer Rank (unlocks simultaneously with Bleak Beach)

Environment

Massive map of volcanic terrain buried under ash and filled with lava caves, hot springs, ore-rich mines, and tunnels. Home to many Fire and Rock-type Pokémon who love the heat.

Main Quest: Time To Party

Raise the area's Mood by throwing a grand party for all the Pokémon in Rocky Ridges.

Steps

  1. 1Meet Chef Dente (a Greedent) and DJ Rotom (Radio Rotom)
  2. 2Raise the Mood meter via placing decorations and building habitats
  3. 3Gather party ingredients: Leppa Berries, wheat, beans, honey
  4. 4Prepare Party Curry in a cooking pot
  5. 5Repair the Pokémon Center using the Strength ability (Machoke)
  6. 6Host the full party event with all Pokémon present
  7. 7Ascend to the volcano's peak to find Volcanion

Reward: Volcanion joins, Trainer Rank increases, Sparkling Skylands accessible after completing both Rocky Ridges and Bleak Beach

Floating sky islands filled with trash, abandoned buildings, and a massive skyscraper construction project

How to Unlock

Complete main quests in Withered Wasteland, Bleak Beach, AND Rocky Ridges. Reach Hyper Trainer Rank by befriending Raikou and Volcanion.

Environment

Interconnected floating islands accessible via Lift Platforms and Gliding. Features limestone deposits, volcanic material sources, and the towering Skyland Building at the center — the most complex region in the game.

Main Quest: Rebuild The Huge Building

Supply materials to Tinkmaster (a Tinkaton engineer) and help rebuild multiple floors of the abandoned Skyland Building.

Steps

  1. 1Meet Dragonite and fulfill their request (bring 5 Alarm Clocks) to learn the Glide move
  2. 2Build Dragonite's habitat and unlock aerial traversal
  3. 3Meet Tinkmaster (Tinkaton) at the top of the building
  4. 4Initial task: deliver 6x Concrete and 1x Iron Ingot to Tinkmaster
  5. 52F construction: 25 Concrete, 10 Glass, 5 Pokémetal, 10 Iron Ingots
  6. 63F construction: 25 Concrete, 10 Glass, 10 Glowing Stone, 15 Copper Ingots + Chef Dente
  7. 74F construction: 40 Concrete, 15 Glass, 10 Paper, 10 Bricks, 20 Lumber + Peakychu
  8. 8Each floor takes 1 hour of in-game time to complete
  9. 9Encounter Mewtwo on the rooftop of the completed building

Reward: Mewtwo joins, building completed, Trainer Rank increases to Ultra
